Twelve
Oaks offers traditional
neighborhood living (new urbanism) for all ages and many
income levels by incorporating a variety of affordable housing sizes
and styles. A myriad of walking choices - including paths, sidewalks,
equestrian trails, an old world bridge, and numerous picturesque destinations
along these trails, make enjoying the land a pleasure. The Trillium
Commercial Center will surround the Village Green and feature excellent
choices of grocery shopping, restaurants, drugstore, and other retail
amenities (post office, barber shop, gift shops, etc.) - creating a
'downtown' feel. Key landmark buildings, which may include a school,
church, community center, environmental center, and clubhouse, will
serve as landmarks in the pastoral setting. Adjacent to the shops and
offices around the Village Green is the 19th century farmstead, which
will be meticulously restored into a bed & breakfast complete with
a fruit orchard, farmer's market, and equestrian riding center. Open
space is provided in public squares, playgrounds, recreation fields,
parks, and conserved marshes and wetlands. All
of these amenities will be located within a 10-minute walk from any
home in Twelve Oaks.
Twelve
Oaks is the kind of neighborhood where you will feel a sense of community
- where you can meet your neighbors and build life-long friendships.
Where family members can live near each other even if their housing
needs and financial statuses differ.
